Totos Pizza near where the new Firehouse Square Development will be built, is one of Belmont’s Pizza Restaurants. I’d have to say it’s the best pizza in Belmont and Yelpers seem to agree giving it 4/5 stars. It is located at 1250 El Camino Real in Belmont. (650) 631-8686
The Beli Deli in Belmont is one of Belmont’s deli’s. They’re open for breakfast and lunch. I like to get food there and walk across to Twin Pines Park to have a picnic. The Beli Deli is located at 1301 6th Avenue in Belmont.
Lunardi’s Grocery Store located in Belmont’s Carlmont Shopping Center is one of the few local grocers left in San Mateo County. I like to go there for meat (since they are a butcher shop) if I don’t want the quantity that Costco carries or if I want to make hamburgers. They grind their own Ground Chuck and it makes great burgers. Often times it’s even on sale for $2.99/lb.
The Little Belmont Cafe at 232 Harbor Blvd in Belmont, CA is one of Belmont’s few breakfast spots. It’s been a while since I’ve eaten there, so I’ll have to go back and report on the food. Yelpers give it 3.5/5 stars.
Water Dog Lake Park, which is getting some much needed improvements in 2010, is one of Belmont’s hiking trails. You can enter it through the Hallmark or Carlmont neighborhoods of Belmont.
